You know, if it wasn’t for PWA, honestly, I probably wouldn’t have met my wife. My name is Esteban Ferrara, PWA graduate, soon-to-be father of six. Oldest to youngest, Daniella, Esteban, Elias, Arabella, Olivia, and coming soon in a couple weeks, my daughter Miriam. I’m a Marine Corps veteran. I did uh four tours, three Iraq, one Afghanistan. Upon exiting the military, the transition was difficult to say the least. Security was kind of like a obvious route, but I didn’t have the foundation that I needed to further my skill set. And so, when PWA came into place, I signed up. GI Bill covered the tuition. One of the biggest takeaways actually from PWA that has impacted my life was the combatives portion, the martial arts training. Benji was our combatives instructor when I was in. Jamming, jamming. You see how I’m jamming up his arms? He told us, if you want to be good at combatives, if you want to be good at what you do, go find a martial arts gym. Sign up and train. As soon as I was out of PWA, I signed up at a martial arts gym and I started training, and I never stopped. Now, I’m a martial arts coach. I coach Muay Thai. That’s how I met my wife. We’re both martial arts practitioners. I coached amateur fighters, uh pro fighters now. Hopefully, someday you guys might be able to see me in UFC or something in the corner. PWA lit a fire in me and just kind of set me on that path unknowingly. I think it’s a really good move for guys in the military that are looking into getting in the industry. This course can be like so much for them, like it did me. My name is Esteban, and I’m PWA strong.
