• Flexible Disbursement: Funds are typically sent directly to Pacific West Academy to credit your student account, making the payment process seamless for you.
• Credit-Based Underwriting: Loan terms and eligibility are determined by Sallie Mae^® based on their specific creditworthiness criteria.

How the Process Works

1. Apply Online: Visit Sallie Mae^® to complete your application. If required, you may include a co-applicant to strengthen your application.
2. School Certification: Once your application is submitted, Pacific West Academy will certify your enrollment and cost of attendance directly with Sallie Mae^®.
3. Fund Disbursement: After approval, Sallie Mae^® handles the disbursement of funds. These are generally applied to your student account for tuition and fees.
4. Manage Your Account: Any funds received by the school in excess of your tuition and fees will be delivered to you as soon as practicable. In the event of a withdrawal from classes, the school will notify Sallie Mae^® and return any unused disbursed funds according to our refund policy.
